en inniya thamizh makalle, ungal anaivarukkum en inniya thamizh puthandhu valzhuthugal.
Apparently this year is called "veeya" and last year was called "parthiban". Source my dad.

it is "viya" aaNdu - as in kuRil "vi"(i know u dont know what it means-hehe!) and it was "parthiba" aaNdu...no "n" at the end :)
"Kuril"..no idea what it means..
Probably, its is parthibha.. I misheard it
it is "vi" as in "wisdom" and not "vee" as in "weak". "nedil" is the counterpart of "kuRil".
am not sure if hindi has equivalent words to kuRil and nedil...dont remember studying anything like that...hmm, but then naan enga hindi class la padichen? :P
Dei potham da..rombha peethikadhe (nedhil)..in that case I would have to question you from Tolkaappiyam.
